At Wynd & Wander, we are all about restoration, contentment and seeking joy in the everyday things.
We want to help you bring balance and comfort to your life and your homes.
The outside world can be noisy and uncertain, but little moments of intentional pausing and taking a breath can keep us present and thankful for where we are and what we have.
About me, Sara - the girl behind the brand. It's so nice to have you here!
So, I have been focussing recently on slowing down and intentionality.
I am prone to easily falling into comfort zones that, once in, I really struggle to climb out of. Unfortunately the result of this cycle really just stints any possibility of growth in my life and holds me back from seeing through ideas and projects.
Not anymore!
I have learned a lot about myself and about the fields that really interest me and get me motivated - candle making with beautiful, natural ingredients; wood working; interiors and up-cycling.
I find that when I am caught up creating, I can really relax into whichever of these tasks I’m doing, switch off and tune in to how I’m feeling.
I find creating in this way, both:
- therapeutic - through the process
- gratifying - there’s a true sense of pride that comes from taking different, sometimes insignificant, materials and making something beautiful
I want to spend any time that I have actively seeking joy in the every day things, and I would love to encourage you to do the same in your lives.
About Aubrey - my husband, the one who keeps me going, and the one who helps with anything on the website - he’s my tech support! 😅
Aubs is a designer so has been keeping me right with anything to do with the website and brand. More than that though, he is my loudest encourager and biggest support source - and I genuinely couldn’t do any of this without him.
